Damn it is very cool, but 40 minutes are too much. I repeatedly rewound because well, just nothing happened. It perfectly shows the atmosphere, the music and sounds from SH fit perfectly, but now it is too long.

I think that if the hero immediately said about the death of his mother, then the further half of the film and the subsequent nightmares, chasing him would not have any sense. All subsequent events pushed the hero to the truth. He pushed all the memories of the tragedy into the suitcase and threw it into the sea, but the suitcase itself nevertheless remains, even though it lies at the very bottom. In the same way and with the subconscious inside which these memories lurk. Therefore, being in the apartment, he only builds guesses. He is tormented by strange feelings and doubts, he is confused, because the real world has just broken some of his illusions, which he lived for many years. Hence Bruckheven, where her mother never lay, but he convinced himself that she was alive and was just treated there, going crazy. And that everything is fine.

I had an idea to use a scene with a flashback, which in reality follows after the “planes” – in the apartment. So that he would go right away and remember. But as I said above, it would be pointless for all further scenes. Then the film would end half an hour earlier most likely.To. The whole main essence would have already happened. But you would agree somehow wrong, right? Like James, the hero needed to meet with his nightmares embodied in reality, just like the monsters who were like patients in a nationwide shirt reminding him of a sick mother, etc.D. This was supposed to push him to remember. Therefore, all the answers after guesses and delusions, he, like us spectators, gets closer to the end.

But the truth was lurking in deeply subconscious and she had its embodiment in the form of letters that only the main character saw. Letters came again, again and again, like a hidden pain that periodically makes itself felt. He came up with a hospital, and came up with that she was lying there and was treated, invented much more to protect herself from pain and save himself from guilt. As a rule, letters more and more often make itself felt and he decides to visit his mother, which ultimately turns out for him just the knowledge of the truth about what actually happened.

Again, in this story there is a reference to James from CC2 also familiar to all fans of the series.
