Giant Marble Run at Alice Holt Forest
As women and as a sign of our gratitude, we shall ensure the seedlings survive to maturity.” We thank this partnership and Kenya Forest Service for not only allowing us access this land to produce potatoes over the next five years, but also for the opportunity to contribute to naturing the tree seedlings planted on our farms. The short answer is yes, there are specific, clearly defined victory and loss conditions in a game of Vantage. And since Vantage is not a campaign game, there is no need to save the endgame state. There’s a mechanical scaling element via the number of challenge dice in the game.

Over a span of 4-5 years, communities engage in cultivating crops within earmarked reforestation areas. TELIS is a collaborative effort involving the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) and local Community Forest Associations (CFA), designed to achieve dual objectives – habitat reforestation and community benefit. The communities, with a majority being women, will benefit from this scheme. The benefits of the forest restoration project are far from over, as the trees have now been planted through Mount Kenya Trust’s restoration strategy under the TELIS programme.

The game flows really nicely, and in stark contrast to some modern Euro games, it gives you so much stuff, all of the time. I love that in the Druids rulebook you’ve got the small references to actions in the margins, just like in older rulebooks. It’s not just about taking actions either. If you’ve ever played the venerable Tsuro, it’ll strike you just how much the game board looks like a finished game of Tsuro.
Vantage asks players to use their eyes, intuition, and collective knowledge to make decisions about what to do. This is a game that trusts your intelligence and asks you to use your eyes (and the shared knowledge of the group if you’re playing with others). The heavy playtesting of Vantage ensured that the action verbiage is intuitive to the game (rather than being a game about guessing what Jamey was thinking when he selected this word). Vantage gives players near-perfect information about what their character will try to achieve. Vantage’s limitation of 1 location action per location per game gives you the freedom to see and do more rather than succumbing to human nature instinct to do all the things everywhere.
Thematically, some locations are simply closer, farther, bigger, or smaller than others–it doesn’t impact gameplay at all, but it is important that the world wraps consistently and seamlessly without complications east to west and north to south. Many cards have coin values, and some actions in Vantage–including one build into each character card–will let you spend or earn coins (or forrrestarrow.com, when specified, barter cards for their value). Even though the world itself isn’t randomly generated, there are random/variable elements to the game, including 6 different characters, 21 different missions, and over 100 locations where each player might crash.
If you do, you’ll be instructed to “continue playing,” at which point you finish whatever you were doing before (including gaining the benefit of the current action). If you need help with other Roblox games, head to our list of Hunty Zombie codes, Grow a Garden codes, Plants vs Brainrots codes, Restaurant Tycoon 3 codes and Anime Crusaders codes. So far, only two codes have been released for the game, with a gap of around one month before the first code was released and the second code was shared. New codes for 99 Nights are shared on the game’s official Discord server.
Alpha players typically thrive when there’s a lot of open information and when each player’s tableau is easy for any player to parse. After all, this is a game about being separated by vast distances across an entire planet–both thematically and mechanically, it doesn’t make sense for there to be alpha players in Vantage. As a cooperative game, is there potential for bossy alpha players in Vantage?
With all that said, if you’re someone who dislikes these types of intrinsic motivations in games, you can instead pursue the mission (the reason you came to the planet in the first place) or a destiny. You may have felt this way in digital roguelike games too–maybe you decided to try to build a Slay the Spire deck around a certain card or to do something clever with a new joker in Balatro. The dual-layered player mats fit with 12mm lid lift (or they can be stored in the slim box they come in). The box would need to double in size to fit sleeved cards. There are around 1300 cards in Vantage at several sizes.
